Knoxville, Tenn. - Inclement weather has postponed the Nebraska-Jacksonville State softball game, scheduled for Saturday night. Continued rain forced the postponement of the contest until 10:30 a.m. (Central) on Sunday.
The Huskers and Gamecocks are playing for the right to play Tennessee later Sunday in the regional championship. To win the regional, Nebraska would have to win three times on Sunday, including beating Tennessee twice. Lineups had been exchanged prior to the delay and are official for tomorrow's game.
NU and JSU sat through a 3:08 weather delay on Friday, before the Huskers pulled out a 4-2 nine-inning victory.
Below is an updated schedule for the Knoxville Regional (all games Sunday):
Nebraska vs. Jacksonville State, 10:30 a.m. (Central)
Championship game, 1 p.m. (Central)
If Necessary game, 3:30 p.m. (Central)
