Pillen and Bruening Receive Diplomas

Nebraska men's golf seniors Mark Pillen and Chris Bruening were among 39 Husker student-athletes who graduated on Saturday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

Pillen, a management major, completed his Husker career with a 77.05 career stroke average. Pillen improved his stroke average each season of his Husker career and was named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll in 2006.

Bruening, also a management major, finished with a 77.18 career stroke average at NU. In his final year as a Husker, Bruening earned a spot on the Academic All-Big 12 second team. He also landed a spot on the Big 12 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll in 2007.
