NU Doubleheader on April 21 Cancelled

The Nebraska softball team’s scheduled doubleheader with North Dakota on Tuesday, April 21 has been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts for the Fighting Sioux.

The scheduling change was made at North Dakota’s request. Previously cancelled Fighting Sioux games have forced additional changes in their schedule in advance of the Independent Conference Tournament, which begins on April 24.

Fans who had tickets for the North Dakota doubleheader may use that ticket for general admission seating into any Husker softball game this season, including today's 5 p.m. home matchup with Iowa State. General admission seating includes one section of plastic chairback seating on the first base side.

Nebraska has five home games remaining this season at Bowlin Stadium. The Huskers host Iowa State today at 5 p.m. before wrapping up their home schedule next weekend with a Wednesday doubleheader against Northern Iowa and a two-game weekend series with Texas Tech. The matchup between the Huskers and the Red Raiders on Saturday, April 25 will be televised live by NET.
