2009 Football 202 Set for July 31

Head Coach Bo Pelini and the Nebraska football staff have announced plans for the second annual Football 202, which gives fans a chance to experience Husker football with the coaches at Memorial Stadium and the Hawks Championship Center in Lincoln on Friday, July 31.

After kicking off its first season in the summer of 2008, the 2009 version of Football 202 promises to be a fun-filled and informative day designed for all fans, providing behind-the-scenes insight on football schemes, game-planning, opponent preparation and other pertinent information regarding the 2009 Nebraska football team.

Special guests at Football 202 in 2009 will include Johnny Unitas Award-winning quarterback Tommie Frazier, who led Nebraska to back-to-back national championships in 1994 and 1995. He will be joined by legendary Husker assistant coaches Charlie McBride, Milt Tenopir and Dan Young, who helped guide NU to national titles in 1994, 1995 and 1997.

7:30 - 8:30 a.m. - Registration
8:45 - 11:45 a.m. - Program
Noon - 1 p.m. - Lunch
1:10 - 5:45 p.m. - Program
6:15 p.m. - Social

The cost of the event is $274, which includes lunch and a T-shirt. Fans can now enroll on-line for the event at Huskers.com by visiting the 2009 Summer Camps link on the Nebraska football home page. Demand is expected to be high and space may be limited, so fans are encouraged to register now.
