Lincoln ? Thursday’s baseball game between Nebraska and Texas, scheduled for 6:05 p.m. tonight, has been postponed because of inclement weather.
The three-game series between the Huskers and Longhorns will now begin Friday with a doubleheader set for 2:05 p.m. and 6:05 p.m. and conclude with a single game Saturday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. Friday’s second game will start no earlier than 6:05 p.m. The second game will be televised statewide on NET and NET-HD and shown nationally on CBS College Sports.
Fans that have tickets to Thursday’s originally scheduled game can use those tickets for General Admission tickets to any remaining regular-season contest during the 2009 season, including the Texas series.
All three games will be carried on the IMG Husker Sports Network, including KLIN 1400 AM in Lincoln, KRVN 880 AM in Scottsbluff and KFAB 1110 AM in Omaha and on Huskers.com.
In addition, fans who have baseball tickets to Friday’s games will also be admitted free to Friday’s softball game against Texas. First pitch at Bowlin Stadium on Friday is still set for 5 p.m.
