Crick Tied for Third at Branson Creek Invitational

Hollister, Mo. - The Nebraska men's golf team is in 12th place at the Branson Creek Invitational after the first round of play on Monday. The Huskers scored a 323 in the first round of the tournament, which was shortened from 54 holes to a 36-hole format because of inclement weather.

On Monday, 27 holes were played but only 18 were officially scored as round one. Scores from the final nine holes from Monday will be added to tomorrow's nine holes, which begin at 11 a.m.

Brandon Crick led the Huskers with an opening round 74, which tied him for third place, three strokes behind the leader. Andrew Wyatt is tied for 22nd after shooting 78. Chris Bruening scored an 85 and is tied for 58th. Scott Willman (86; T-62nd) and Austin Zimmerman (88; 64th) rounded out the Husker lineup. Mike Coatman, competing as an individual, is tied for 15th with a 77.
