Husker Basketball Banquet Set for April 15

The University of Nebraska Athletic Department is inviting the public to join a celebration of the basketball season at the 2009 Men’s Basketball Postseason Banquet. This year’s banquet will be held on Wednesday, April 15, at 6 p.m. at Lincoln Station in the Haymarket in downtown Lincoln.

 

Fans can still reserve a seat to join the coaching staff, administration and basketball team as the season's accomplishments are highlighted throughout the night. The banquet will include feature videos of the 2008-09 season, with a special tribute to the team’s four seniors: Ade Dagunduro, Steve Harley, Nick Krenk and Paul Velander. Coach Doc Sadler will review the season and present the Jack Moore Award, given annually to the team MVP.

 

Cost for the banquet is $25 per person. Parking is available in the metered parking lot south of Lincoln Station (free after 6 p.m.) or in the adjacent north lot at minimal cost. Attire for the evening is business dress.

All reservations must be made by Monday, April 6 at noon.
