Lincoln ? Due to anticipated inclement weather, the Nebraska soccer team has rescheduled its two spring games on Saturday. The matches, originally scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., will be pushed back, as Nebraska will face Denver at noon and South Dakota State at 3:15 p.m. in 75-minute games. The two visiting squads will square off at 1:45 p.m. for 60 minutes. All three contests will be held inside the Hawks Championship Center instead of at the Nebraska Soccer Field. Admission to all spring games is free.
The Huskers enter the weekend with a 3-1-1 record in spring competition, after collecting three wins on March 7 in Tempe, Ariz. Nine different NU players have notched goals, while junior Lauren Isenhower has three scores this spring, including two against Southern Utah. Colleen Goetzmann, Shay Powell and Jaclyn White have earned game-winning goals. In the net, goalkeepers Jessica Mills and Tara Macdonald have combined for two shutouts and allowed three goals in five games.
