Huskers Maintain No. 12 Spot in National Rankings

Lincoln ? After going 1-1 over the weekend at Arizona State and UCLA, the Nebraska women’s gymnastics team maintained its No. 12 national ranking this week in the latest GymInfo poll released Monday. The poll, which is calculated by team RQS, also ranks NU third in the South Central region and second in the Big 12 Conference. In addition, the Huskers are 12th nationally in team vault scoring (49.145), 14th on bars (49.025), 15th on beam (48.93) and sixth on floor (49.23).

Individually, junior Kylie Stone is tied for sixth on floor (9.905) and 16th in the all-around (39.35). Senior Tricia Woo is third on beam (9.915) and tied for 13th on floor (9.89).

The Huskers open post-season competition on Saturday, March 21 at the Big 12 Championships at Iowa State. Competition is set to being at 2 p.m.
