Columbia, Mo. - Nebraska freshman diver D'Arcy Schmidt had a successful weekend at the Zone "D" Diving Championships in Columbia, Mo. Schmidt finished 23rd in the one meter and 20th in the three meter in a field of nearly 30 divers from the region.
Schmidt opened the meet by diving a 238.25 on the three meter board, finishing just outside the top-18, who advanced to the finals round. She then finished off her performance with a score of 219.90 on the one meter board the next day, good for 23rd.
Senior Courtney Jolly was unable to perform in the meet as she is healing from an ankle injury that hampered her in the Big 12 Championships two weeks ago.
