Nebraska-Missouri to Tip Off at 1 p.m. on Saturday

Fans are reminded that tipoff for the Nebraska-Missouri men's basketball game is set for 1:02 p.m. CT on Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The game was originally scheduled to start at 2 p.m. (the time shown on season tickets) but it was moved ahead one hour to accomodate a request from ESPN2, which is televising the game around the country.

Saturday's contest will also be a "Pass the Bucket" Day for the Nebraska Red Cross. Volunteers will be collecting donations to benefit the southeast Nebraska chapter of the organization at the men's game and at the Nebraska women's contest later that night against nationally ranked Oklahoma.  All fans with tickets for the men's basketball game with the Tigers will be admitted to the women's game for free.

Money collected during the event will support Red Cross services in southeastern Nebraska, including services such as disaster response and preparedness, the First Aid stations in Memorial Stadium, lifesaving disaster and response training and crisis communication services for local military families.
