Nebraska began the fall season ranked third by the NTCA poll, but topped each of its three competitions to move up the December poll. The Huskers wrapped up the fall season with a 30-9-0 season record.
NU will continue its season on Jan. 16-18 at the Mid-Winter Classic in Jonesboro, Ark. The Huskers will compete in four more regular-season tournaments after the Mid-Winter Classic before hoping for their bid to the 2009 NCAA Championship in Detroit, Mich., on April 9-11.
