Two Huskers Fall at D?Novo Championships

Junior David Bendheim and sophomore Calin Paar both lost their matches today in the qualifying round of the ITA D’Novo Championships in Tulsa, Okla.  Bendheim was defeated by Johnny Parkes (New Mexico) 6-3, 6-3, in his match earlier this morning.  Paar lost to Michael Shabaz (Virginia) 6-4, 6-4.

 

Due to another team dropping out of the doubles bracket, Calin Paar and David Bendheim will face off against Dmitry Lebedev and Chris Nott (Arkansas) in the doubles qualifying round Tues., Oct. 7.

Johnny Parkes (New Mexico) defeats David Bendheim (NU) 6-3, 6-3

Michael Shabaz (Virginia) defeats Calin Paar (NU) 6-4, 6-4
