Nebraska-LSU Volleyball Match Sold Out

Lincoln ? The University of Nebraska Ticket Office announced Thursday morning that Friday’s match against LSU is officially sold out. Over 13,000 tickets have been sold in advance for the first night of the Ameritas Players Challenge and Friday’s crowd could threaten the NCAA regular-season attendance mark of 13,396 set last year for Nebraska’s match against Hawaii at the Devaney Center.

The Huskers will take the court at 6 p.m. against LSU or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the New Mexico/St. John’s match set for 3:30 p.m. The Devaney Center gates will open at 2:30 p.m., and Husker student-athletes will be collecting books at each entrance for the Read to Succeed Book Drive.  Fans who bring books or donations to Friday’s matches will be entered in a raffle to win an autographed Husker volleyball.

New Mexico vs. St. John’s  - 3:30 p.m.  
Nebraska vs. LSU               - 6 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 13 (matches at the NU Coliseum)
LSU vs. New Mexico/St. John’s         - 12:30 p.m.
Nebraska vs. New Mexico/St. John’s - 3 p.m.
