The Australian women's gymnastics team finished sixth in the team finals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The Australians were coached by Peggy Liddick, a former Husker athlete and assistant coach, who guided Team Australia for the third straight Olympics.
Australia managed a team score of 176.525, just 0.175 points from a top-five finish. Host China took home the gold, while the United States earned silver and Romania captured the bronze.
