Hill made the first team with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average as a speech language pathology major. An academic All-America candidate, Hill was a first-team academic all-district VII selection last year, while she is the first two-time recipient of the Julie Geis Memorial Scholarship.
Mullin, an outfielder from Mesa, Ariz., also earned first-team honors for the second straight year. A history major, Mullin leads Nebraska in average, sacrifices and stolen bases, while serving as a co-captain along with Hill and fellow junior Brittany Pascale. Mullin is also the first two-time recipient of the Richard Raimondi Memorial Scholarship.
To qualify as an academic All-Big 12 selection, student-athletes must keep a 3.00 GPA or higher and must have participated in 60 percent of the team’s scheduled contests.
