Lincoln, Neb.-Former Nebraska bowler Adrienne Miller was among 49 Nebraska student-athletes who received their diplomas during spring commencement exercises on Saturday, May 10, at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
Miller, who wrapped up her eligibility with NU in 2007, graduated with a degree in psychology. A native of Albuquerque, N.M., Miller was a four-year letterwinner for the Huskers from 2004 to 2007. She was named a two-time National Tenpin Coaches Association All-American in 2005 and 2007. Miller was a consistent competitor for the Huskers, helping NU to back-to-back NCAA bowling championship titles in 2004 and 2005.
The 49 Husker graduates this May are added to the December class of 44 graduates to bring the total number of Husker student-athletes graduating during the 2007-08 academic year to 93 before summer commencement exercises in August. Nebraska continues to feature one of the highest graduation rates in the nation with an exhausted eligibility graduation rate of 94 percent.
