Trisha (Tannahill) Nordstrom

After graduating in 2006, I moved home to <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Overland Park, Kan., and finished up wedding plans.  A few months later in July I got married to Josh Nordstrom.  He is in medical school here in Kansas City, so I was happy to be able to buy a house and stay close to my family as well as his.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

At the same time I was starting to search for a job, my dad’s plans for opening a restaurant were falling into place.  He needed some help and I needed a job so it was a perfect match.  I started out working in the office with him and it was fun to go through the process together.  Now, as the restaurant has been open for almost two years I am mostly in the restaurant rather than the office.  It’s a TON of work and hours, but so much fun.  Many people ask how it is to work so closely with my dad (thinking it must be tough), but I sincerely enjoy it each day.  The restaurant is called Tannahs Asian Fusion so if you’re in Kansas City come visit us!

I work quite a bit, so I don’t have much more to update.  In my free time I enjoy cooking and working out.  The question everyone always asks is if kids will be added to the family soon.  Not for awhile if all goes as planned, but I’ll be sure to update this when that does happen!
