Hello everyone!!  This is great, having the ability to see what everyone’s doing now.  I hope you all send in your updated bios so we can all stay connected!!   <?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

Well life after <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Nebraska softball hasn't changed too much for me.  I was very blessed to have the opportunity to continue my career playing in the NPF (National Professional Fastpitch) League.  I played a total of 4 seasons:  2004 I played for the Texas Thunder out of Houston, 2005 I played for the New York Juggernauts, and in 2006 & 2007 I played for the Chicago Bandits.  My career was going pretty well until the opening weekend in 2006, I tore my Bicep during a pitching workout.  I've never really been injured that seriously my whole life, so it was a really tough summer.  My faith was truly tested.  I was determined not to end my career like that.......so I decided to have surgery and rehab, rehab, rehab over the off season.  By the grace of God everything went well with the surgery and I was able to play one more season in 2007.  After the season was over, I was satisfied.  I was able to play one last time and decided to finally hang up the cleats.

It’s tough realizing that something which has been a part of your life for so many years has come to an end. It’s definitely been a great journey, and I wouldn't change anything.  Nebraska softball gave me a great opportunity to grow not only as a player, but as a person. I’m very thankful for the experience and people I’ve meet along the way.

So, now I live in Chicago and work as a Performance Coach at Velocity Sports Performance.  I train all athletes, from the ages of 8-18, mostly on their conditioning and weight training with sport specific skills.  We are continuing to grow as a company and beginning to offer all different aspects of training from nutrition to agilities.  I don’t think I could ever let softball go, so I continue to give private, group and team lessons.  It’s a great place and if your ever board you can check out the website at http://velocitysp.com/naperville

My family is doing great...I've had a few new additions...My sister had another son who is now a lil’ over 1..and my brother had a son who is 11 months...and I have a dog who is 2! Her name is Pepper and she is a black toy poodle.

GO HUSKERS!!
