Lincoln ? Aysha Jamani and Brittany Goosen were named to the all-tournament team on Monday for their performances at the USC Tournament last weekend. The Huskers lost 2-0 to No. 13 Tennessee on Friday and 2-1 to Georgia on Sunday as part of tournament action.
Jamani, a junior forward, recorded four shots in two games, one of which was on goal. She used her quickness and ball control skills to create several scoring opportunities for the Huskers. Jamani leads the Huskers with 16 shots this season.
Meanwhile, Goosen, a freshman defender, recorded her first career goal against Georgia in the 65th minute on Sunday. She took a free kick from 30 yards out that bounced in the goal box and past Bulldog goalkeeper Michelle Betos. Goosen became the second freshman to score a goal for NU this season.
Nebraska now returns home for a four-game homestand, starting with Saint LouisUniversity at 5 p.m. on Friday
