Today was our last day in Singapore as we boarded a flight to Shanghai.  The flight was 5 hours, but went by quickly while we talked and watched movies.  Once we arrived we were greeted by some of the World Cup organizing committee who helped us with our bags.  We loaded the bus which took awhile and then police escorts took us to Hengzhou which is where we will play our first two games versus Norway and Ghana.  Even with the police escort the bus ride took close to 4 hours as the traffic in China is interesting to say the least.  The drivers don’t stop for anyone, sometimes not even for the police.  After we arrived at the hotel, we went up to our rooms and dropped off our bags and then went for dinner.  After dinner we had a walk to try and stay up and the city seems really busy.  At 10 o’clock at night it still seemed like it was the middle of the day.  Some good news is there’s a Starbucks attached to the hotel which should be convenient.
