Konichiwa from <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Japan!

We have finally arrived in Japan after a very long travel day.  We left Vancouver at 7 a.m. on Monday morning, and stopped in Los Angeles before boarding the 10-hour flight to Tokyo.  Most people slept or watched movies, and by the time we arrived it was already Tuesday night here.  We ate dinner and then went for a team walk to try to force us to stay awake and get adjusted to the time difference. The food here has been pretty good and mostly what you would expect from Japan, a lot of rice and fish. Tomorrow we are training at the stadium before our exhibition game with Japan on Thursday.  Japan is in group A with Germany, England and Argentina, while we are in group C with Norway, Ghana and Australia.  The exhibition game tomorrow should be a good test to see where we are before the World Cup starts. It will give us an opportunity to get one more game in before the tournament.
