Gymnastics Booster Club to Hold Golf and Dinner Event

<?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Lincoln ? The Nebraska Gymnastics Booster Club will play host to its fourth annual golf tournament on Sunday, Sept. 9, to benefit the NU men’s and women’s gymnastics programs. The event will take place at Woodland Hills Golf Course ? 6000 Woodland Hills Drive in Eagle, Neb. ? beginning at 2 p.m.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

 

The cost is $80 for individuals or $320 per four-person golf team, and includes a spot in the golf scramble and dinner that night. For supporters who choose not to golf, dinner tickets are available at $15 apiece. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet gymnasts and coaches from the 2008 Husker squads that afternoon.

 

The 2008 season begins on Friday, Jan. 11, as the Nebraska women’s team travels to conference rival IowaState in Ames, Iowa, at 7 p.m. NU opens its home schedule with Missouri, a meet which is tentatively scheduled for Friday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m.
