Lincoln --- Nebraska men's basketball coach Doc Sadler put his players through 40-minute workout sessions on Tuesday at Mabel Lee Hall, the first time the Huskers have practiced together in preparation for the 2007-08 season.
Sadler led four groups of four players each through the short, intense workouts. The Huskers will have three 40-minute sessions this week as part of the NCAA-mandated two-hour practice limit before moving into full team practices for two hours per week later in the month. The Huskers can start full team, regular-season practices on Oct. 12 after 7 p.m.
Prior to the first workout, Sadler met with the media before the first weekly football press luncheon. Sadler discussed this season's schedule, which was announced Tuesday along with the TV schedule, among other aspects of the program. To hear the complete interview, click on the links above.
