Lincoln --- Nebraska senior center Aleks Maric has seen the world. He's been everywhere from Europe to South America and from his native Australia to North America. But the 6-11, 270-pounder who will be one of the top players in the nation this season has seen more of the Heartland than ever this summer as he worked out and took summer classes in Lincoln.
Maric, who is on pace to complete his degree next year, hopes to find even more success than 2006-07 when he earned second-team All-Big 12 honors after posting career highs with 18.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. More importantly, the Aussie wants to see the Huskers improve on their 17-14 record and seventh-place showing in the conference standings.
Maric sat down recently to talk with Huskers.com about his summer habits, expectations for his final season in Lincoln and more. Click on the link above to hear the full interview.
