Huskers Meet Big 12 Media

Nebraska Football Coach Bill Callahan along with seniors Bo Ruud, J.B. Phillips and Terrence Nunn met with the Big 12 media Monday afternoon, as part of Big 12 Media Days in San Antonio, Texas. Click on the link above to see quotes from Callahan's interview session. 
 
The Huskers were picked to finish second in the Big 12 North Division in the preseason media poll, while Ruud and junior offensive lineman Matt Slauson were tabbed as preseason all-conference selections. Ruud, a 6-3, 235-pound linebacker, was a first-team All-Big 12 pick by the league's coaches following last season, and Slauson is one of six returnees on the Husker offensive line with starting experience.  In addition, Nebraska senior quarterback Sam Keller was chosen as the Preseason Newcomer of the Year.
