T?trault Earns CoSIDA Academic All-American Honors

Junior Stephen T?trault was named a third-team Academic All-American selection as CoSIDA announced its 2007 men’s at-large teams on Tuesday, June 12.

T?trault, a math major from Lincoln, Neb., earns the prestigious honor for the first time in his Nebraska career. He was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team earlier this month.

In addition to his CoSIDA selections, T?trault was named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll for the sixth consecutive time this week. He is also a two-time College Gymnastics Association First-Team Academic All-American and a two-time Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Academic All-Conference member. T?trault is a three-time NCAA All-American for the Huskers, including two top-eight finishes (all-around and pommel horse) in 2007.

Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, T?trault recently captured the vaulting crown en route to a seventh-place finish in the all-around at the 2007 Elite Canada National Championship in Saskatchewan. The Lincoln East graduate returns to Nebraska in 2008 as NU’s only senior to lead the Huskers in pursuit of the program’s ninth national team title.
