NU?s Series Opener at Texas A&M to be Televised

Lincoln -- Husker baseball fans in Omaha and southeastern Nebraska will have an opportunity to see Friday’s series opener against Texas A&M live, as both Cox Cable and Time Warner Cable will carry the game from College Station, Texas.

Friday’s first pitch in the battle between nationally ranked teams is set for 6:30 p.m., as the game is being produced by Cox Sports Television and distributed to both cable channel subscribers.  Friday’s game is the second of at least nine regular-season telecasts for the Nebraska baseball team during the 2007 season.

In Omaha, the game is being carried on Cox Cable (Ch. 2), while in Lincoln and surrounding areas, the game will be shown for free on Time Warner Cable (Ch. 102) for all digital customers. Time Warner Cable customers will have to have a digital cable converter to see Friday’s telecast.

In addition to the television coverage, Friday’s game ? along with the rest of the series with Texas A&M ? will be carried across the state on the Husker Sports Radio Network, including flagship stations KLIN 1400 AM in Lincoln, KFAB 1110 AM in Omaha and KRVN 880 in Lexington, and for free on the Internet at Huskers.com.
