Lincoln --- The Nebraska-Northern Iowa women's tennis match scheduled for Saturday, March 3, at the Nebraska Tennis Center has been postponed because of travel delays by the UNI squad, Nebraska Coach Scott Jacobson announced Friday.
A winter storm that produced heavy snow in eastern Nebraska and into Iowa along with high winds has hampered UNI's departure from Cedar Falls and forced the postponement of Saturday's match, which was set to begin at 10:30 a.m. The teams will work together to try to find a suitable makeup date in the future.
The Huskers play top-20 ranked Baylor today at the Nebraska Tennis Center at 4 p.m. and are still scheduled to play Saint Louis on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in Lincoln.
