Weather Alters Huskers' Schedule

Inclement weather has delayed the 23rd-ranked Nebraska softball team in its attempt to travel to Las Vegas, Nev., for this weekend's UNLV Invitational. The Huskers were originally scheduled to fly out of Omaha this afternoon, but blizzard conditions forced the cancellation of the flight. NU will now depart for Las Vegas early Friday morning from Kansas City, Mo.

Due to the late arrival, this weekend's game schedule has also been altered. Nebraska was scheduled to play twice on Friday and Saturday and once on Sunday, but the Huskers will now play only once on Friday and twice on Saturday and Sunday.
