Lincoln ? The Nebraska women’s gymnastics team is ranked No. 7 nationally in the latest GymInfo poll released Monday. The poll, which is calculated by regional qualifying score, also ranks NU first in both the South Central region and the Big 12 Conference after a first-place finish (196.40) at the Masters Classic last Sunday. In addition, the Huskers rank fifth in team floor (49.135) scoring, as well as sixth on vault (49.205), seventh on bars (48.99) and 12th (48.695) on beam. Nebraska’s team RQS is 195.895.
Individually, junior Emily Parsons is ranked second nationally on vault (9.945), fifth on floor (9.89) and sixth on beam (9.875). Junior Desire’ Sniatynski is rated 15th in the all-around (39.15) and 12th on bars (9.86), while sophomore Kylie Stone is 21st in the all-around (38.995) and 17th on floor (9.855). In addition, sophomore Tricia Woo is ranked 21st on beam with an RQS of 9.81.
Nebraska plays host to No. 5 Utah on Sunday, March 4 at 2 p.m.
