Donahoe Named Big 12 Wrestler of the Week

Sophomore 125-pound wrestler Paul Donahoe was named Big 12 Wrestler of the Week, the conference announced Monday.  Donahoe is the first NU wrestler to earn the honor this season.

 

Donahoe was 3-0 last weekend, including a 10-8 win over Matt Fisk of Lehigh, a 13-6 victory over Steve Mytych of Drexel and an 8-2 win over No. 20 Matt Eveleth of Penn.  Donahoe has won six of his last seven matches and is 29-4 on the year, including a 15-3 dual mark. 

 

Donahoe and the Huskers are preparing for the 2007 Big 12 Championships on Saturday, March 3, in Columbia, Mo.
