Austin, Texas? Senior Danielle Stansbury captured her second top 20 finish in as many days as the second day of the Texas Invitational was completed Friday afternoon in Austin, Texas.
On Thursday, Stansbury opened the three-day meet by gaining Nebraska’s highest finish so far when she placed 15th on the three meter with a score of 245.00. She added a 17th-place finish (229.90) on the one meter Friday, when sophomore Courtney Jolly led NU in 16th with a score of 232.95.
Juniors Kaci Ressler and Dani Millis are also diving this week in Austin. Ressler has placed 28th (three meter) and 24th (one meter), while Millis finished 35th on the one meter.
The Huskers will wrap up the Texas Invite on Saturday with the platform dive. The swimmers will be taking on the South Dakota State Jackrabbits in Brookings, S.D., at 11 a.m.
