Huskers Tie for First Place

Greenwood, Miss.-Three Huskers earned spots on the all-tournament team as the No. 2 Nebraska bowling team tied for a first-place finish at the Valley Classic tournament on Sunday afternoon.  Nebraska and Vanderbilt shared the crown, each 7-1 on the tournament. 

 

Senior Amanda Burgoyne led the Huskers with a 212 average over eight games for a second-place finish.  Senior Adrienne Miller placed third with a 203 average, while junior Lindsay Baker placed fourth with a 200 average.  NU now holds a 1-1-1 record on the season

 

Nebraska will take a one-month break from tournaments before competing in Ozark Invitational at Springfield, Mo. on Jan. 19, 2007.
