Football 101 Gift Certificates Available

<?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Lincoln - Delight a special person in your life with the gift of education this year.  Coach Callahan Charities, Inc., is now selling gift certificates for the 2007 Football 101 for Women event to benefit the fight against breast cancer.

 

Scheduled for June 1, 2007, this event has attracted more than 3,000 women in its three years.  Those who attend the event have the opportunity to learn football from Nebraska’s best teachers, the Nebraska Football coaching staff.  During the one-day event, participants have an opportunity to learn hands-on the plays, terminology, and information on nutrition, strength training, film sessions and everything that goes into game-day preparation for the Husker football team.

 

Proceeds from gift certificate sales, as well as registration fees for the event, will be kept here in Nebraska as the proceeds will be given to the breast cancer research projects in the state.  Last year, Coach Callahan’s Football 101 for Women raised $55,000 for research being conducted at UNMC’s EppleyCancerCenter.
