Kickoff Times Set for Kansas State and Texas Games

Kickoff times for <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Nebraska’s game this Saturday at KansasState and the Huskers’ Oct. 21 home game against Texas have been determined. <?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

Nebraska and KansasState will meet at 6 p.m. this Saturday in Manhattan with the game being televised by FSN on a pay-per-view basis. Suggested retail price of the pay-per-view telecast is $29.95. More details on how to purchase the telecast will be available throughout the week on Huskers.com.

The matchup with Texas has been chosen for telecast by ABC Sports with game time set for 11 a.m. The Husker-Texas game will be televised to more than 80 percent of the nation. The ABC telecast will mark Nebraska’s third appearance on the network this season, with a fourth ABC appearance set for Nov. 24 against Colorado. The other Big 12 Conference game selected for telecast on Oct. 21 was Colorado at Oklahoma (6 p.m., FSN)>

Nebraska and Texas have a history of playing on ABC. This year’s matchup will be the sixth meeting between the two schools since the start of the Big 12 Conference, with five of those matchups carried by ABC Sports.

Game times for Nebraska’s matchups against OklahomaState (Oct. 28), Missouri (Nov. 4) and Texas A&M (Nov. 11) will be announced six to 12 days in advance of the game.
