Basketball Team to Sign Autographs and Work Out Saturday

The <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Nebraska men’s basketball team will make an appearance at the Husker Nation Pavilion on Saturday, Sept. 30 before the football game between the No. 21-ranked Cornhuskers and Kansas.

Players will sign autographs from 4-5 p.m. with free autograph cards provided to fans as well as special schedule cards. The Nebraska women’s basketball team will also be at the Pavilion signing autographs at the same time.

 

The basketball team will first work out at the DevaneyCenter from approximately 1 to 3:30 p.m. The workout is open to the general public and media.

 

Nebraska began NCAA-permissible team work outs with coaches last week and will continue with their conditioning and team workout schedule until Oct. 13, the first official day of practice for the 2006-07 season. Nebraska opens the exhibition schedule on Nov. 6 at home against Nebraska-Kearney.
