Lincoln - Boys and girls ages 8 to 15 are invited to participate in the NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass and Kick competition at the Husker Nation Pavilion from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, prior to kickoff between Nebraska and Troy State.
Millions of kids compete in the event nationwide each year, with 32 finalists advancing to the NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass and Kick national finals. Boys and girls compete separately in four age divisions (8-9, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15). All participants launch one punt, one pass and one kick, with scores based on distance and accuracy (in feet).
In addition to participating in the competition, Husker fans can enjoy the normal pregame festivities that occur at the Husker Nation Pavilion before every home football game. At the Husker Nation Pavilion, fans can enjoy a plethora of pregame entertainment including: the Pinnacle pregame radio braodcast, a new video board whi shows live college football games from across the country, a football obstacle course for adults and children, food vendors, autgraphs from various Husker teams and much more.
