Huskers Jump In Rankings

The Nebraska men's tennis team jumped from No. 75 to 62 in the latest set of ranking released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Tuesday.

The Huskers upset then-No. 22 Florida State, 4-3, Feb. 4 in Tallahasse, Fla., at a quadrangular tournament hosted by the Seminoles to help NU make the climb.  The win marked the first time the Huskers have defeated at top-25 team since defeating then-No. 16 Rice at the beginning of the spring 2005 season. 

The Huskers are set to compete in their first home match Feb. 17 against Drake at the Nebraska Tennis Courts, beginning at 6 p.m.
