Husker Football Recruiting Dinners Set for Lincoln and Omaha

Nebraska football fans will have two opportunities to get the first look at the Huskers’ 2006 signing class and hear about each of the newest Huskers with recruiting dinners set for both Omaha and Lincoln.

 

The Touchdown Club Football Recruiting Banquet is in its second year and will be held in Lincoln on Thursday, Feb. 2. This year’s event will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel at 1040 “P” Street. The evening will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. The Nebraska coaching staff will speak as part of the evening’s program and a highlight film will also be shown.

The Omaha Recruiting Dinner will be held on the night of signing day, Wednesday, Feb. 1 at the Holiday Inn Central (72nd and Grover). Head Coach Bill Callahan and his entire coaching staff will be in attendance at the dinner. The social hour is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the program to follow.

 

Coach Callahan will be the featured speaker during the evening and a highlight film of each of the newest Huskers will be shown as part of the program. For more information on the event, call (402) 633-1467, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets to the dinner are $55.
