Oct. 4 NU-Missouri Match Added to Television Schedule

Columbia, Mo. ? Next Wednesday’s match-up between No. 1 Nebraska and No. 7 Missouri has been picked up for television broadcast and will be carried by Fox Sports Midwest on a tape-delayed basis.

The clash between the Big 12 co-leaders, which is set for Oct. 4, at 6:30 p.m., will be carried on Fox Sports Midwest on Sunday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. Fans in the Kansas City area will also be able to watch Wednesday’s match live on Metro Sports.

It will mark the 10th game scheduled for either regional or national telecast this season for the 11-0 Huskers, while other matches could be added to the television schedule in the near future. Nebraska and Missouri are two of the eight remaining undefeated teams in Division I college volleyball heading into this week.

Nebraska’s next televised match will be this Saturday, when the Huskers take on Baylor at the NU Coliseum. First serve is set for 7:30 p.m., and the match will be carried by Nebraska Educational Television (Ch. 12) and by NET-HD (Ch. 112 in Lincoln). In addition, Saturday’s match will be carried nationally on College Sports Television and broadcast Sunday at 3 p.m. (central).
