Freshman tailback LaRod Stephens-Howling finished with career-highs in carries (17) and yards (98). His 30-yard gain in the second quarter was a career-long. It also marked the longest run from scrimmage this season against Nebraska.

Pitt drops to 0-3 for the first time since it began a season 0-4 to start the 1984 campaign.
