Fan Day Attracts More Than 5,000 Husker Faithful

The <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Nebraska football team took a break from practice on Saturday morning and had an opportunity to meet Husker fans. Approximately 5,000 Nebraska fans converged on Memorial Stadium for the annual fan day, providing an opportunity to get autographs from players and coaches and have your picture taken with your favorite Husker. For most Nebraska fans it was also the first chance to get a glimpse at the new FieldTurf surface at Memorial Stadium.
