NU Invites Fans to Meet-N-Beat the Huskers

The <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Nebraska soccer team invites fans to meet the players and check out the new on-campus home of the Huskers, the Nebraska Soccer Field, at the annual Meet-N-Beat the Huskers night on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

 

Fans in attendance will learn skills from Nebraska’s players and coaches, have the opportunity to get autographs from the players and enjoy free pizza and pop while supplies last. Admission is free and fans are encouraged to park in the Stadium Drive Parking Garage, located across the street from West Memorial Stadium. The fee for using the garage is $1 per hour.

 

The Meet-N-Beat event kicks off a busy weekend of fan activities at Nebraska. On Saturday, the Huskers will scrimmage at the Nebraska Soccer Field at Noon, following the Nebraska Football Fan Day in Memorial Stadium, beginning at 10 a.m. The Husker volleyball team concludes the fan-filled day with its Red/White Scrimmage at the Coliseum at 7 p.m.
