Huskers Set for Twinbill vs. Kansas

Lawrence, Kan. ? After weather and field conditions delayed Nebraska’s Big 12 opener at Kansas on Friday, the ninth-ranked Huskers and Jayhawks are set to begin a doubleheader this afternoon  at 1 p.m.

Both games can be heard on the Pinnacle Sports Network, including KLIN 1400 AM (Lincoln), KFAB 1110 AM (Omaha) and KRVN 880 AM (Lexington) and also on Huskers.com. Live stats are available on the links below.

Right-hander Joba Chamberlain (4-0, 0.86 ERA) will take the hill for Nebraska in the opener, while lefty Zach Kroenke (2-0, 2.04 ERA) gets the start in game two, as Nebraska looks to extend an 11-game winning streak. The Huskers are 19-2 on the season, the program’s best start since 1983, while Kansas is 20-8 overall and riding a seven-game winning streak
