Lawrence, Kan. - Friday's scheduled baseball game between ninth-ranked Nebraska and Kansas has been postponed due to wet field conditions at Hoglund Ballpark.
The first game of the three-game series is now tentatively set for Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m., while no announcement regarding a doubleheader on Saturday or Sunday will be made until Saturday morning.
Nebraska heads into Saturday’s Big 12 opener with a 19-2 record, the program’s best start since 1983, and an 11-game winning streak. Kansas has also been on a roll, winning its last seven games to improve to 20-8 on the year.
