Single-Game Baseball Tickets on Sale

Lincoln ? The University of Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office announced that single-game baseball tickets are now available for sale. Reserve seats are $8 each, while general admission tickets are $6 (adults) and $4 (youth and senior citizens). Tickets can be purchased on-line at Huskers.com or by calling the Nebraska Ticket Office at 800-8-BIGRED.

Monday’s announcement is the first time that fans can buy single-game tickets for games against Big 12 rivals Oklahoma State, Texas, Baylor, Missouri and Kansas State, along with non-conference tilts against Creighton and Iowa among others.

The Huskers are 12-2 on the season and ranked as high as 22nd in the national polls. NU’s start is the program’s best since 1998. The Huskers return to action this week, as they play Northern Colorado in a three-game series beginning Tuesday afternoon at 1:05 p.m.

Two More Husker Baseball Games Picked for Television
Lincoln ? A pair of Nebraska baseball road games have been chosen for statewide or national television broadcast. The games are in addition to the four games announced by Nebraska Educational Television (NET Sports, formerly NETV Sports) last month.

Nebraska’s April 5 matchup against Creighton from Omaha’s Rosenblatt Stadium will carried live on NET-1 (Channel 12 in Lincoln) and also shown in high-definition on NET-HD (Ch. 112 on Time Warner Cable in Lincoln and Ch. 812 in Omaha). Tickets for the April 5 game are available for purchase from Ticketmaster (475-1212 in Lincoln and 402-422-1212 in Omaha) and www.ticketmaster.com.

Fox Sports Net announced that the Huskers’ April 16 contest at No. 9 Texas A&M will be carried nationally by Fox Sports Net. First pitch from Olsen Field is now set for 2 p.m. Fox Sports Net will also carry three games from the Big 12 Tournament in Oklahoma City in May, including the title game.
