Kansas City, Mo. - The sixth-seeded Nebraska women's basketball team will try to build off a solid 60-45 opening-round victory over Oklahoma State when the Huskers tangle with the third-seeded Kansas State Wildcats in the second round of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Tournament at Municipal Auditorium on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.
The game will be televised live on Fox Sports Net (Channel 37 in Lincoln) and carried live on radio by the Pinnacle Sports Network (1400 KLIN in Lincoln and 1110 KFAB in Omaha).
The Huskers enter Wednesday's game with a 17-12 overall record after producing an 8-8 mark in Big 12 regular-season action. Kansas State, ranked No. 17 nationally, owns a 21-6 overall record, including a 12-4 mark in regular-season league action. The Wildcats received one of four first-round byes in the 12-team tournament.
The winner of Wednesday night's game will advance to Thursday night's semifinals to take on the winner of Texas vs. Oklahoma contest played on Wednesday.
