The 2005 Swimming and Diving Big 12 Championships, completed last weekend in College Station, Texas, will air on Fox Sports Net on a tape-delay basis during the next two weeks.
Viewers in the Lincoln and Omaha area can watch the event Thursday afternoon at Noon CST on Fox Sports Net Midwest. The meet will be aired again on Fox Sports Net Midwest on Saturday, March 12 at Noon CST.
The Huskers finished third at the competition, after coming back from a 34-point deficit on the final day of competition to overtake Kansas. Sophomore Lauren Bailey took two runner-up finishes (500-yard freestyle, 1,650-yard freestyle), while junior diver Amie Buoy was third on the platform dive, and second on both the one- and three-meter.
The team finish was the highest by the Huskers since 2001. Nebraska finished fourth at last year's meet, and sixth the previous two years.
Head coach Pablo Morales was interviewed by Fox Sports during the meet last week and his segment will air during the telecast.
