Sophomore Jason Wassung was recognized as the MPSF Gymnast of the Week for the second consecutive time following his performances against OhioState on Feb. 18 and Oklahoma on Feb. 20.
Wassung earned his initial honor on Feb. 14 after gaining his first dual all-around title against the Sooners on Feb. 13. The Lincoln native has now garnered a trio of all-around titles with a career high 54.575, which catapulted him into 11th place nationally in the event.
Wassung and the Huskers will travel to Iowa City, Iowa this weekend to take on the Hawkeyes on Saturday, Feb. 26 in their final away dual of 2005. They return to Lincoln on Sunday, March 6 for a match with the Minnesota Gophers at the DevaneyCenter at 2 p.m.
